the headlines in my mind
My friends rule.
I know you all know that I don't have cable TV. So when gymnastics comes on TV (which is rare), I'm usually out of luck (unless it's on NBC, and their coverage is dreadful). ESPN is re-airing the all-around competition from the World Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, December 29th from 9:00pm - 11:00 pm. And the amazing Julie has agreed to tape it for me. Everyone go rack up her traffic meter and read her journal because not only is she a good friend, she's deeply funny as well.
Granted, when she agreed to tape it, she thought it was on Sunday, because I thought it was on Sunday. D'oh. ESPN changes its schedule constantly. Julie?
My laundry has taken over.
I have procrastinated long enough. Time for the laundry to get laundered. On that note, does anyone know how much it would cost to get a down comforter dry-cleaned? Mine is in dire need.
My mother was right.
George Clooney is beautiful. Of course, now she wants to know what I have with "all these middle-aged men." Watch Out of Sight and it all becomes clear.
I'm a blob.
On top of eating the aforementioned holiday cookies, I haven't exercised or even stretched out in days. I have become one with the computer chair.
I can't get no motivation.
I have to kick my own butt into gear. Okay: shower, market, laundry... march!
