from the sublime to the ridiculous First things first:
The rest of the story: I have a test tomorrow for which I am completely unprepared. I should be studying right now. I don't have access to the school's network. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night. I can't access the material I need online. I don't have a password. No one told me I had or needed another account; I assumed that my college ID number and PIN, which get me into one of my school accounts, would work for everything I needed from the school site. I need these pictures. The first fifteen questions on the last test were about the images projected on the screen in class in the preceding weeks. As in, look at the picture and remember the details: the title, who took it, when it was taken, what trends in photography it showed, what type of work the photographer was known for, what galleries they associated with, and so on. And I can't get at the pictures. I can be the first caller to the help desk in the morning, sweet-talk my way into an account (please please please) and picture-cram until the test (1:00). It's my only possible plan. Oh, man. I so did not need this. |
